Our younger son is so happy that we will be returning to Connecticut.
He plans to do a lot for our return to our house.
He will change our mail delivery online from Florida to Connecticut.
He will vacuum and dust our house.
He will put fresh sheets on our bed.
He will put fresh towels in our bathroom.
He will grocery shop and load up our refrigerator and freezer.
He will have our cable service turned back on.
He will even get tested to make sure he doesn’t have the virus.
He’s very excited to see us and will try his best to wait while we quarantine ourselves. We are excited, to see him, too!

He can get tested? Is it a volunteer thing that anyone can do? If more people got tested and had documentation then maybe things go lighten up.

@DianneN A program needs to be instituted that those who are clear can resume work together in a clear environment to get the wheels of industry going. Food for thought: medical experts are now claiming each and every one of us are infected thus all carriers at the least so why stay at home if that is true. Always remember, recovery rate is over 98% and there are proven effective treatments such as malaria vaccine and ECMO that save people.

@JohnRoberts The malaria vaccine is NOT a proven effective treatment.
This narrative review summarizes what is currently known about how SARS-CoV-2 infects cells and causes disease as a basis for considering whether chloroquine, remdisivir and other antivirals, or other existing drugs might be effective treatment for coronav

You know, I didn't realize until now that you could change your mailing address online! I've always filled out a little card at the post office.

We still don't have the option for voluntary testing here unless we have a doctor's referral or have a fever. They have a drive-thru testing site set up now, but they are only accepting people who have a doctor's referral. I was sick for almost a week and couldn't get tested because I didn't have a fever. Only when the fever struck could I go get tested. It's nice that your son has the option to go voluntarily to get tested. It's also nice that he will have everything taken care of for you when you get back to Connecticut.

@DianneN I don't know if it's the weather or what, but I have been napping all day long today (it's been pouring down rain for 2 straight days now). I look at it as "building my strength back up." lol

@moffittjc Wow! It’s been sunny as usual down here.
I’m hoping we get rain tomorrow to keep the covidiots off the beach and common areas.
Just take it easy so you don’t have a relapse. Afterall, you’ve come this far.

@DianneN If it wasn't the truth, you wouldn't be saying it! I am very happy with my two children, how they turned out. I'll never stop talking about it, as long as I live!

What a guy! You sure raised your son right . . . he is absolute tops in caring for his parents ! Wow, you guys can all get tested? I don't think it's that way here - yet. I am interested in taking the antibodies one . . . I am seriously wondering if I had it when I was sick on our skiing trip - it was a really, weird sickness.

@DianneN Yes, both your sons were raised right! I'm sure your older son is doing what's best for his family - I hope they're all hanging in there out there!
I'll have to see what testing is possible now . . . things seem to change daily.
I keep looking at the symptoms list. Mine were a bit different, but I hear others saying similarly. Yesterday I saw a post on FB from someone who tested for antibodies - she suspected it and had it done - and sure enough she had 'em. Her symptoms were just like mine - not typical from the usual symptoms - she lost her voice for a month like I did!!!
Please continue to stay safe and well! - you and all the family!

Both the boys are so wonderful, but our younger son lives so close to our house, and the older one is busy taking care of his own family.
Testing has been going on for over one month in various areas in Connecticut. This newest testing site just opened in a college.
I remember when you were sick on your trip. I’m sure you’d know if it was the virus from what I’ve heard.

That must make you feel warm all over for such a reception. Now just be safe and drive carefully. When are you setting out?
