Car is decorated for the birthday parade

I was going to blow it off due to being in a crappy mood and not having anything to decorate my convertible with. Well my parents showed up with some decorations because THEY REFUSE TO STAY AT HOME. 
I also had a very $hitty afternoon and was definitely not in the mood to deal with anything. . . but I knew that my parents would want to see my car decorated. I knew that my friend (the birthday girl's step mother) wanted as many people as possible. . . so I went out and decorated the car.
I didn't have much but I had 2 ball things with tassels that I put on the side mirrors and a happy birthday sign that I seriously didn't think that my car was long enough for. 
I should have gotten balloons but I was busy this afternoon. Oh well. At least I am participating.
Have you seen or participated in any birthday parades?

I'm glad you participated. No, I haven't seen any parades or heard about any being planned.

The teachers came through our neighborhood at the start of this waving at kids. But no we haven't seen any birthday parades.
