How much has your life really changed?

This virus has affected everyone, even if you haven't gotten sick or know someone who has. Its changed what businesses are deemed essential, its changed the way restaurants operate and various other things in the business world. We could sit here and talk about that all day, complain, argue or what have you. But that's not what I wanna talk about.
I wanna know how much your personal life has changed since this virus crisis has taken over.
Many of you are aware that we own our own business and have continued to work through out the pandemic. We have a letter stating we are essential employees and actually according to the CDC and the state of Florida guidelines we are part of the industries that are considered essential even during a state of emergency. So work hasn't really changed at all.
We have two kids, they are in fifth and first grade. The biggest way this crazy Corona crap has changed our lives is with them. We have switched to home schooling. A lot of the schools have done online, but because we are working the kids are at grandmas and her internet isnt great, our kids are doing all paper school work.
Our day to day lives haven't changed except for not being able to go out to eat and the kids being at grandmas during the week.
But I think a lot of that has to do with the way we live our lives during normal times. We are outdoors people. The canoe, boat, four wheelers, guns etc. Ninety percent of what we do when we aren't working is done outside and away from people. So none of this social distancing stuff affects us. You can say we are being selfish and should stay at home. But if we are the only ones out there at the park, creek etc., its not affecting anyone else. We are working hard, we should get to play hard too, as long as we do it responsibly.
So how has your life changed?

Being retired, not much on a day to day basis except entertainment really sucks with no sports. Travel plans were thrown into the dumpster. It's mainly a mental thing of being ordered to do this or that while knowing we are being manipulated, this BS concerning shopping, observing the sad way people react and the knowledge we have been stripped of freedoms that may not fully be reinstated.

@JohnRoberts Oh well there's always this summer. Or fall. Depending on when the crazy goes away and they decide they can open things back up.

I'm in agreement with you. We were supposed to do a big trip for 4/20 to the big mud park in Alabama with friends. But because of all this, they are closed and it isn't going to happen and I'm kind of bitter about it.

My work is canceled until at least September. (substitute teacher). My side lines of mystery shopping and a holiday rental are also canceled.
I have not been to town yet this month. (Hubby shopped though)
Not having anyone visit and not visiting anyone. Miss my family, but staying home alone.
I have completely changed my life.

I've been working from home for 10yrs, so that part hasn't changed. Though I've noticed a slump with a few clients on Textbroker and Fiverr. Otherwise, I try to stick to my indoor routine so I can have that sense of normalcy.
I can't really go anywhere like I used to, except for walks and a grocery run. And now when I do, I'm wearing face covers. I'm trying to be careful so my Mom doesn't get it.
As for Easter, that didn't change because we celebrate at home anyways, and nobody really comes over. We enjoy Easter, but it's not like Halloween or Christmas for us.

I've been working from home. I haven't been going to the grocery store as often as I usually do and when I do I wear a mask. My gym is closed so I've been working out here. I have been ordering takeout more often than usual to help support local restaurants.

So probably the gym and work is how it's impacted you the most.
Have they decided anything about reopening places up there?
