Over this past winter and especially during quarantine over the past few weeks, I have started to become more aware and interested in the birds that visit my yard. I have put up bird feeders have started to identify the birds that are stopping by. So far, a daily visitor is a mockingbird, several types of sparrows, cardinals, mourning doves, cowbirds and blue jays. A few weeks ago there were juncos too, but I have not seen them the last few days.I am excited to see what these next few weeks will bring as far as birds go :)

I like watching birds but it’s not really a hobby, I just think they’re cool. I had a humming bird feeder until the wind came and took it away.

I used to have a hummingbird feeder too when we first moved into this house. I have to look what happened to it!

It is really a fun hobby and I learn so much with every new bird that stops by.
