Up the Wall and Hiding

A few nights ago my cat was sitting on my lap and staring intensely at the corner of the wall. Thinking I was just a cobweb, I ignored her.
A few minutes later, her eyes got huge and I could feel her body tense. I looked up and saw a mouse peeking it’s little head out of the hole in the woodwork. Yup I did screech!
I told my husband I was going to bed! His solution to the problem was to put mousetraps up near the hole.
He watched the mouse come out and start nibbling on the peanut butter. Problem was the mouse didn’t apply pressure on the trap. So hubby used one of his arrows to trigger the trap. One mouse down.

One evening I was relaxing next to the hubby and happened to look up to see one dangling over his head. Yup, I called it an early bedtime.

Oh, like those situations I get in my child hood. In my home there is lot of rats so we have cats too. I see like those sense how cat grab the mouse very tricky and enjoyed those.

Thankfully we don't have rats. I do have a cat, and she will occasionally get a mouse or two.

Hopefully we will get the others. My cat is ready to pounce, but not by going up a wall for them!

No, he took the arrow in his hand to trigger it. It was long enough to reach the trap without the mouse paying much attention to what was happening.

I explained that to Little Miss. She watches Dusty closely to see if she is looking for a mouse.
