Happy Friday & Daily Health Report - April 16

How is your day going? Do you still know what day it is? Have you done something completely selfish for yourself? I did just that this morning. I bought a new swimsuit in my current size. At 80% off, I couldn't pass up the savings and it gives me something to look forward to when this lockdown is over. Yesterday was an okay day with food and exercise. I hoped to get a walk, but the air was a little too cold with the wind bringing the wind chill to 32 F. So, I walked it out in the apartment. Here are my numbers for food and exercise yesterday. Breakfast - 1 Banana, 2 Eggs, 2 Slices Turkey Bacon, 1 Slice Banana Bread Calories: 598 Sugar: 18 Carbs: 43 Protein: 29.1 Sodium: 541 Fat: 30.3 Lunch - 1 Potato, 1 Serving Hamburger, 2 Servings Tomato Sauce Calories: 310 Sugar: 7 Carbs: 36 Protein: 29 Sodium: 95 Fat: 4.5 Supper - Lettuce Salad w/2 Servings Lettuce, .25 Onion, 1 Roma Tomato, 2 Celery Stalks, 3 Servings Lite Sweet Vidalia Onion Dressing, 1 Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookie, 1 Serving Almond Milk Calories: 450.7 Sugar: 36.575 Carbs: 45.6 Protein: 3.8 Sodium: 440.85 Fat: 26.26 Total Stats: Calories: 1358.7 Sugar: 61.575 Carbs: 124.6 Protein: 61.9 Sodium: 1076.85 Fat: 61.06 Calories burned: Bicep Curls - 2 Hours - 894 Steps - 8926/3.38 Mile - 510 Total calories burned - 1404 Total calories = -43.3 I think I did all right yesterday. @just4him I do long, tough for me workouts. It’s good to rest my muscles. Walking is something I can do every day. I’m sure your doctor will be blown away!

@DianneN I'm sure he will too. Last August I was still around 220. I'm at 194.6 right now.

You must be very busy to get weary in this time of frustrating isolation. I know they say to exercise two or three times a week. I exercise every day. I'm determined. I'll take a day off when I reach my goal. If I can be down another 20 pounds by my birthday, it would be awesome. I don't see that happening. I'll be happy with what I get. I can't wait to see the doctor's look on his face when he sees how much I've lost by August.

It is now. I've had a headache all morning and it finally went away. The temp is great and I'll be heading out the door for my walk as soon as I finish eating lunch.

It was a bargain. It was originally $92. I paid $24.98 plus tax. Those kinds of deals don't come around very often. Not on chlorine resistant swimsuits.
