OH JOY!!! It's carpet cleaning time again, WHY DID HE BUY "COFFEE" colored carpet???

First, IF you believe that the carpet on the floor in a cabin in the woods by a lake is "coffee" colored, I have swamp land in New Mexico for sale!!! I just looked down again and his "coffee" colored carpet is needing cleaning again. I hate the job because for one it's best done in "hot" weather so that the carpet drys fast. Number two is that my husband put the carpet in before we connected. His Grandson picked the color, and it ain't coffee colored! It ain't even coffee with cream colored. Try for off white!!! Yep, every spot shows up on the carpet and sits there and screams like crazy!!! It wouldn't be too bad except that he also has numerous throw rugs all over the place and I wouldn't have noticed the dirt if he hadn't moved one of the throw rugs. (By the way, they call them throw rugs because they throw more work your way!) I'm positive if I moved the mat from in front of his desk I would find that the carpet is actually white. Bill's Grandson came down here a couple of years ago and came in with something on his shoes...I'm not too sure what it was but it left all kinds of black streaks on the carpet. It made a horrible mess so I grabbed the carpet cleaner and started cleaning (That's also where they came up with the phrase "I broke my back cleaning this house"....that's where my initial fractured back came from). It took almost 6 hours, but I got all the carpet cleaned (it goes through the whole cabin, wall to wall). So, out will come the steam cleaner, carpet cleaning solution, spot cleaner (there is some really good ones!) and the extension cord. And out will go my back. Well at least it's an activity for the lockdown...not too exciting but still it's more for me to do.
