Bible: Creation story, Adam and Eve

According to bible Adam and Eve were created 4000B.C. And they were the first human beings. So that would make human beings 6000 years old. All I can say to that what a load of crap. It's funny how some people believe the Adam and Eve story very literally and ignore all the scientific facts. I agree that faith is important. But there is no reason to believe something that can not be true. You might ask me if I am an atheist. My answer to you is not. I am agnostic. Which means that I believe there might or there might not be a God. Maybe all the miracles are created by God, maybe not. I don't know. But anyway. My main point is the Adam and Eve story.

Stop dwindeling between belief and non belief.In time of bibles no fossil study was done and I bet Darwin was not even born that time-so they could claim whatever they wanted to.Now get up and give bible a fresh look and read it through an educated person's angle.Try reading it to learn about the times and situation of that time.Try reading it as an autobiography written about jesus.You will see a great manwho was crucified for believing differently from the political powers of that time.He was a hero -who was worshipped by massess.

Hi ,
I believe that Adam and Eve would have been much before 4000 B.C . Yet ; the scientific theory says that the first Ape Descendent ;which we can call as first Human beings came nearly 2 Million years ago .
So;scientific and biblical things do not seem to be re-conciled .
Still ;If people have a particular faith ;let them follow that .
