Do you plan your snacks in advance?

I know some people don't snack, but if you do, do you think in advance what you want your evening snack to be, or do you just grab something? I usually think a bit in advance what I want to have. If it is something a bit more caloric, I try to eat less during the day or skip dessert or something. I also try to think of what snack foods are getting stale possibly and need to be eaten before they are dead. I haven't had popcorn for awhile so I think that will be tonight's treat.

I rarely ever plan a snack in advance, I just know I will have one and I will know what it is when I see it. It’s pretty random I guess, usually I choose whatever is closest to me at the moment. I have thought “wow, I really want —- I think I want one” but I don’t really count that as doing it in advance because I thought of it suddenly, it wasn’t pre planed. Maybe it does count, I’m not entirely sure. I think it does count, but I don’t know for sure.

@snowy22315 I will start out thinking “oh, I should have this tonight” and most of the time I will wind up with something else.

@babytaffster I usually stick with what I thought of, unless I am really wanting something else come snack time.

For us, we just eat or drink when we are hungry. Most of what we eat is raw veggies or fruit.

@babytaffster I consider popcorn to basically be healthy, as long as it doesnt have a lot of additives. It is kind of hybrid snack, tastes good and junk foody, but somewhat low calorie and basically healthy.

I don’t eat healthy food, I know I should, but junk food is quicker and easier and tastes much better. Sometimes I will have fruit though.

Basically. If a package of Oreos is opened, you have to have some every night until gone as they get stale.

Yeah, pretty much but those stay close strips on the package help a bit.
