I Love Kitties, Too!

Everyone in my family is an animal lover. We have all grown up with dogs, cats, fish, turtles, etc.
Most of my friends here know we lost our precious Doodles the cat last November. We still have two wonderful granddoggies.
Our younger son loves cats the most. He refused to date a beautiful girl, because she didn’t like cats. Nevermind that she didn’t like his favorite sports team. 
The French girl he is dating now has these two Ragdolll kitty cats among 4 others. She and her mother rescue cats.
All six cats love my son. When he visits, they come out of hiding and allow him to pet them, play with them, and hold them. They don’t do that for his girlfriend or her mother!
I think they love my son for that and for many other reasons.

Those are beautiful cats.
Cats know when someone loves them. When we go for our walks every day all the cats come up to me. One lady said her cats do not come to anyone else. Her cats even get all excited when they see me. I pet them and they are happy.

I love it that your son is a cat person. My husband loves our cat. I know that if he found another one that caught his eye, he would bring it home. He has told Little Miss that we will get another one some day.
We had to put our Benta down about 2 years ago. It really saddened me to have to do it, but she was failing.

Animals know when a human is fond of them.
Among my siblings, only one of us hate cats. My doctor sister really hates cats and I don't know why. In fact when we were young we had too many cats in our home because our mother loved them. So I cannot understand her. In fact she doesn't actually hate them. She's scared of them. Especially small kittens. She would jump up on a chair whenever she sees a kitten.

@DianneN My sister can tolerate dogs but she doesn't adore them as much as I do. I remember both my parents loved dogs.

@toniganzon I love both cats and dogs. I grew up with them and so did my kids. We are all animal lovers.

Those cats seem as if knew that your younger son loved cat and they felt a natural affinity for him.

Oh, what beautiful cats! We grew up with seal point Siamese cats, and my sister has a gorgeous ragdoll. The Siamese were very loving, but the ragdoll isn't as affectionate as she was hoping. He likes the dogs better than he likes people, it seems.

@DianneN - yep, that's what we thought! Kinda disappointing. My black angora is a huge cuddlepuss.
