The much needed news time.

Every morning I start with the news. I need this to reassure me that I must stay at home.
Every day, at some point, and as I feel the sense of being in jail, I tell myself that maybe the quarantine is too much and that if I invite my close friends who haven´t been exposed to many people, I will be safe.
It is then when news are a reminder that there is a long way to go yet. And that the only thing that matters is health.
I also read news from Spain and several doctors have died from the COVID-19. So we also must protect who protect us.
What´s your say on this?
Moneywise, in my family, we are acting like the 3 musketeers. All for one and one for all.

We really have to help our frontliners by staying at home as much as we can because they are already risking their lives for those covid 19 patients and too much is really giving them a hard time.

Same here. Except, of course, what the stupid people do. There are still people that party. Even celebrities.

@marguicha Yes that`s the problem. The reason why this is taking long time because there are people who don`t care

I am glad you have a family to draw upon. A lot of people are having to face this situation alone. That would be a terrible thing for me. Protecting those who are giving their lives to help us through this is a top priority. Well, it should be, I think the President here has got some pretty messed up priorities because all he seems to care about is how his poll numbers are stacking up. (very poorly at the moment) It seems the man simply cannot tell the truth nor can he admit a mistake. Oh well, that is life.

@marguicha You are correct. The best talent in this situation would be leadership, along with a good dose of empathy, two things that our President is severely lacking. I understand that this is a situation that is trying against the best minds in the world. I can empathize with the hard decisions that must be made. But there is no substitute for a good leader.

We are actually visiting Vince's brother and his wife tomorrow. It is her daughter who lives in Luxor and has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I think they need a bit of support. None of us have been anywhere much at all and we'll stay a bit apart. We'll have a coffee and a chat and come home again.

We are locked in and locked down. They opened up the Jacksonville, Florida, beaches this weekend. I thought that was a big mistake.
