Whats For Dinner?

Today was just "one of those days"
It started out okay and then the power went out. At least it was bright out today so we didn't need to have the lights on. Thankfully I was already up, dressed and coffee was made.
Then this afternoon my back started aching once again. It's the second time in just a few weeks so I'm not a happy camper right now.
The good news....power came back after a few hours. It's a mystery why it was out to begin with.
Tonight we're having ham steak with roasted sweet potatoes and a medley of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots.
That's my day in a nutshell.
How was your day?
What are you having for dinner?

Is the power outage related to the bad weather? There's a storm in the vicinity of Texas as per the news last night.

No. We had a sunny day and no storms in the area. No idea why it went out and it's not something that happens often

@Marilynda1225 if that power outage happens often then that would be annoying when you are on the computer.

Maybe someone hit a pole?
We lost power for about 10 minutes a few days ago. Something to do with an animal and the wires.
We had meatballs / subs

It's probable that something happened with a pole or wires.

Weather was damp this morning but dried out and became nice. I saw 3 trucks from the electric company on our street, and they left. Gnochi with homemade marinara for dinner.

Wonder what the electric company trucks were doing on your block.
Your dinner sounds good. My granddaughter loves Gnochi

*had, fast food.
My day was well. I did a lot of reading of letters from people in the 1800s. I just finished listening to the book I'm trying to get through as well.

It sounds like a good dinner. I had rice boiled in chicken broth and mixed in grated cheddar that melted in the rice.

It's so frustrating because it happened only a few weeks ago.
