Sorry this is another discuss about Corona virus but I think this can be discussed so that those who are aware of it can share there knowledge. So I don't know if Corona can be controlled by staying in Lockdown because there are still no information available which say if for how long this virus stays on the surface and can infect any person with it. Are you aware of it? Do you think Corona can be stopped by staying in Lockdown?

Social isolation definitely helps, but other things are needed also. Probably won't be completely under control until we have a vacine.

In my personal opinion I think strict quarantine would control, flatten the curve or probably reduce it to an insignificant number provided people do their part and follow it strictly to the letter. The economic, financial, social and political side of it although very much related is a different story, again it's only my personal opinion.

I'm not sure. I don't know but it's good to take all precautions since we really don't know what is going on.

No it will not stop the virus, staying at home is to protect YOU from catching it and spreading it.

I guess it helps a lot. Social distance does its job and brings great effect of decreasing the spreed speed of the virus. Otherwise, a lot more will be infected.
