How do you forget bad experiences

I realized that forgiving and forgetting is what we need to achieve happiness after a bad experience.
A song said " You must forgive me, I must forgive you..... so let's not bring the past now anymore" and I think that it is right.
If we experience a bad thing. Learn from it then back to zero. Then try again.

I try to compromise, but I can be stubborn sometimes. I think with me, as I've aged I have been less confrontational and go with the flow more. With age comes wisdom

I may forgive but I'll never forget to forget would be to be a fool. Remembering what someone did to you is smart it means you won't make the same mistakes with them in the future. You dont need to forget what they did to move on. I do this even if they genuinely apologise I just won't bring it up in conversation.
