I knew as soon as he said that I was done listening. If he doesn't want to hurt my feelings he should just close his mouth. Sometimes people should think before they announce their intention. - I went outside. I wasn't ready for hurt feelings. I was ready for a walk.

@Writingghost We have streets here that are considered public. There is also a recreation area with space to walk. I just stay away from others walking in the same space.

Yes, my husband always announces when he is going to say something that he believes will hurt my feelings and I noticed it's a trend in many places, relationships and conversations.

I truly hope that it is not their intention. I try to find something good to keep my spirits up and my fever blisters down. I don't always make that happen. Sometimes I even lose my temper!

Mine just days it. He don't care if what he says will hurt my feelings. If I try to go for a walk, he'll follow me :0

That happens here as well, but I can more exercise if he is following me - I try and walk faster.
