Wow, alright. You all were busy last night. I just woke up and had a ton of notifications that I been and still need to go through. The last post I made said about making the last 8 cents to get to payout, well since that time I made 34 cents. I was a bit shocked that in less then 24 hours it jumped that much. Thank you all very much.
Here is another shocker that I had. I checked my bank account as I do every few days and umm, a lot more than I expected. So I had to look at the details and found that yes the $1200 was still there from the Feds so that was normal but then I looked at the payment from the unemployment. Ahh, what? They paid me almost 3 times what I got paid last time. Why? I'm not sure I understand.
I went on the unemployment website to see if there was anything on there that might explain this. It does say that the federal government do something or other that we will be getting an extra $600. Now I have to say buy their wording I am a little confused if that is each time we get paid, a one time payment or monthly. I am not sure but I can tell you this. Even if that is each time we get paid, what they deposited into my account is a lot more than what I would normally get and the $600.
Right now I will just let the money sit there and see if it gets adjusted down or if I get a letter say oops we paid you to much give us our money back.
Hope you all are doing all right.

actually it makes me feel worried about why it is all coming in? do they want it back at a later date? Am I going to be taxed on all of this money? I don't feel comfortable with government handouts. I just want to get back to work and earn my way.

@Bensen32 I understand. We all want to get back to work. But if the government is helping out we all should be supportive and appreciative about it

@cherriefic Yea, not going to sit on hold for hours trying to ask a question I probably will not get a straight answer for.

The $600 is in addition to unemployment and as I understand it you get it weekly. Not sure for how long though.

Glad you're getting help from the government during these hard times. In my country we get nothing
