Family secrets

Being the oldest in my family, my siblings often confide in me. As we've gotten older, the secrets have changed. What my one sibling confided in me, just left me speechless. I can't discuss it with my husband. As soon as he starts drinking, he has loose lips >( definitely can't share with our mom. She'd go crazy! As much as I keep telling myself that it's her life, I can't tell her what to do (or in this case, what NOT to do). They are taking the wrong road in life and it scares me :'(

i'm sorry to hear that, but i don't know why wouldn't you share your opinion with that sibling? of course, he/se will decide what to do or not to do, but if he/she trusts you enough to confide in you, i think that he/she will care about your opinion and suggestions. i think you should tell her what not to do. good luck

We've already had that discussion. They feel that this is their time in life to live. Kids are grown and moved out. Whenever they do get caught, it's going to shake the family.

@angelwithkids well, if they are old enough to have kids that are moved out, i think that they are old enough to bear the consequences of their actions. anyway, i hope everything turns out fine

I would've never believed that they would go down this route
