April 22 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good day today.
I'm thankful I got my laundry done this morning. It's folded and put away.
I'm thankful I went shopping afterward. I picked up a few things to make my meals a little more interesting. Though the bananas looked pathetic.
I'm thankful I have all my notifications finished now. It was good spending time with all of you this afternoon.
I'm thankful for the exercise I've accomplished so far and will finish in the next couple of hours.
I'm thankful for the food on my table. It was another day of not eating a lot. However. I will be having 2.5 meals today. Breakfast was only half.
I'm glad I'm healthy. I used my mask today for laundry and shopping. I noticed more people are using masks.

Alot of people were using masks at Walmart today. Until like last when we went. But still some are not.
We got almost everything we went to walmart and market basket for, again. Stupid lysol and Clorox is not findable. Anywhere. Ugh.

Glad you were able to get your laundry done, and some shopping. Here some are wearing a mask, but not everyone.
I am thankful for the gift my friend sent to my family - she ordered a small desk-table for Eli to have a place to do his school work.

It's nice to hear that you use mask while going out and the others also do, as I know wearing mask is a controversial issue at Western countries in these days, most of people don't accept it as an effective measure for self protect and community protect in this pandemic

I wear it, but I'm not convinced of its effectiveness any more than I am convinced six feet is affective for social distancing. How far do airborne germs travel? Can a mask really help in this pandemic? No, I'm not convinced, but I wear it.

Yes Valerie, agree with you about keeping distance when going out is "must"
The normal mask may not prevent much from infecting but at least we use it to low the risk of spreading/contact to drops from infected persons to normal persons when they cough.
In my country, the mask which government advise people should wear is a special kind with a waterproof outer layer, a special material for middle layer (tested approve for protection) and the inner cotton layer. Compare to normal mask I think it can help anyway
Wearing mask is quite popular and habit of Vietnamese , so under pandemic time , people have quickly and early changed from normal mask to medical or special mask
