Yes you got it right! My okra is having its first bloom. I planted 10 okra seeds in February out of which 3 plants died i have 7 okra plants and i found the first bloom today. I can see more little flowering bud that will bloom in a couple of days.
Happy to see those beautiful light yellow bloom on my terrace

Congratulations, I also have a few okra plants but they are still young. I love okra , I usually fry young okra in butter and dip it in soy with lemon. Seven out of ten is not a bad ratio.

O found out that okra start producing early as compared to other plants. You will soon see your okra blooming.
