Its a common idiom “sleep like a baby”.
But i found that reality is different. My babies get up many times and cry sometimes in the night. They never sleep whole night without getting up. I think they feel anxious, sometimes hunger makes them to get up. And ither times they just want to make sure that we are there with them.
But yes watching then sleeping is a delight.

@anamika161088 I know. Sometimes it’s so hard to know what they want.

@DianneN Yes. I wish babies learn to speak at their birth only. It would be so easy then for babies and parents both

When baby cries, it doesn’t feel good. It feels as if i am unable to understand what they want

I remember when my youngest sister was a baby. She would be restless in her sleep almost every night. My grandparents said that my sister is creative because her mind was working even when she was asleep. Indeed when she grew up, she is smart and very creative.

Oh! That’s something new to learn. Then i can calm myself down that they might be imagining something very creative. I would be looking for their creativeness now on

@Alexandoy sure. It would be nice to observe them while sleeping. I can help them to enhance their creativity if i find what is their preference. The sooner the better

It is a common expression when an adult sleeps so soundly. Yes, babies are so cute to look at while they're asleep.

Yes. Sometimes peeing make them uncomfortable. Sometimes they need diaper change.
There are so many reasons for them to fe l uncomfortable during sleep and then they just start crying

My daughter gave me quite a hard time but not so much at least she is asleep mostly at night. And then came my niece who is asleep day and night.

Thats good. I am waiting for them to sleep at night peacefully. I am missing full night sleep for so long now.
Baby who sleeps day and night is like an additional blessing
