Did you read the book or watch the movie? Which came first with you, the book or the movie? Which one did you prefer?

Yes, I did and it was a great book, actually, one of my favorites. I watched the movie first and I really loved it. Then I went in search for the book, it was actually sold out in our local bookstore so I waited for months then when I finally got hold of the book, I was able to finish it in a few hours. I like them both because the book and movie both have great stories.

I watched "A Walk to Remember" on film first and when I heard that there was a book written prior to the movie, I ran out and read the book as well. After experiencing both, I would have to say that I enjoyed the movie more. Sometimes I find it difficult to picture in my head what the book is saying and so by seeing it acted out infront of my own eyes, I understood the emotion better. I have to say that I enjoyed both though, it was the best movie I've ever seen and one of the best books I've read.

I watched the film first before I got curious about the book... I liked the movie a lot than the book itself... I don't know why but I felt unsatisfied with the book after I read it. So, I watched the film again instead... and again, and again, and again... :)

I read the book and then saw the movie, and it was interesting to see how they changed the setting. The book was set in the 1950s, and the movie was set in present-day; maybe it was to attract the current population of teens, I'm not sure. Either way, both were fantastic; Sparks has a way of conveying such emotion. All of his works are impeccable, highly recommended.

We watched the movie. I love it and would watch it again. I think we all cried. I like to read the book first and then watch the movie for some reason.
