Update on Everything....

Hello everyone! I hope you are well, especially with all this virus stuff going on. I will admit that I don’t read the news other than a few articles on facebook but I don’t want to be one of those people that panic because of everything they read. Yes, I know that this virus is serious and should be taken seriously and I do especially since my nephew has a suppressed immune system and is already on a vent. I think I don’t read the news because I don’t want to stress about things that I can’t change or even help with. It will take time but this virus will die out as long as people do what they are supposed to. It’s been nearly 5 months since I’ve posted on here so I figured I would just update on a few of the topics I posted before. ANIMALS We are down to 6 cats now. Our dog passed away in November and I miss him every day, especially now. Even with the virus going around, we can still go for walks but they’re not as fun without being able to take Cheech with us. NEW CAR My Malibu was totalled by the other owner in Feb and we now have a 2020 Chevy Equinox. The payments are more than what they were with the Malibu and I’m still trying to decide if I really want to put my money into another vehicle where the other driver could be careless. Because he totalled the Malibu, I’m out $5400 which is what I had paid on it but he doesnt want to talk about giving me even half of that back or crediting it towards the Equinox. So I didn’t give him my half of the car payment for this month as of yet and he’s begun b***hing about it. Now I have to figure out exactly what I want to do. I’m thinking of telling him that I’ll give him my half for the payment but the first time he puts any kind of damage on the car, I will be taking all my money back that I’ve put into it. SISTER My sister is still not on her feet but she is able to get up from her chair and take a few steps to her wheelchair. Honestly, I had hoped that she would be healed by now and I wouldn’t have to be at her house as much. It’s come to the point that when I’m here (I’m at her house right now for overnight #1 of the week), I don’t feel like family. I feel like a cook, a maid and a babysitter. Oh and also a bank. My sister and her bf owe me $445 and it’s been months. I’m starting to think that I’m never going to see that money especially since my sister brought up that I got my stimulus check from the government but she hasn’t yet. KAYLEE Kaylee is a senior and will be graduating even if the school cancels the graduation. If they do that, I’ll have to figure out a little ceremony for her. We also recently heard from Kaylee’s sister Hannah who lives in Tenn. She’s been back in Tenn for almost a year now and they haven’t reached out before. In fact, Kaylee has all of them down in Tenn blocked on facebook so they can’t message her. The timing of Hannah reaching out makes me and Kaylee suspicious. Yes, Hannah may actually miss Kaylee but she hasn’t reached out before and when she was up here last summer, Hannah kept trying to convince Kaylee to move to Tenn with her and their mom so that’s why I think they have reached out now. Either that or it’s close to the time where Hannah would be coming to NY to stay with her dad and she wants to hang with Kaylee but I don’t know how often that would happen if that were the case. Kaylee does not want to be around Hannah or Renee by herself but neither of them can understand why. They think that I’M the one that won’t let her go off with them by herself but Kaylee doesn’t trust them and I’m not about to force her to do something she’s not comfortable with. DAD Things with my dad are okay between us but a few weeks ago, things were pretty rocky with his wife and I nearly went over to their house to beat the s**t out of her. His wife went after my dad with a crowbar over cat litter. He had told her that the cat litter was stinking up the house so she either needed to clean it or move it out of the room or get rid of her cats. So yeah, my life has been pretty stressful these last few months and I’ve been really feeling all the stress this past week. I’m not interested in doing the things that usually bring me joy and even listening to the songs that usually bring me out of my funk aren’t working. Hopefully things improve because I’m not sure how much more I can take at this point.

@Michellekidwell it never seems to get easier. There are some days where I don’t think of the ones who have passed on and then feel horrible about it. Then there are days when I forget that they are gone until I nearly call out their names.
