Reading books or watching movies?

Are you the type of person who likes to read books or watch movies? I know reading is great for finding information and improving understanding and that's great, but I don't know why reading a series of words in a book makes me tired and boring. Even after reading, I didn't remember all the details need to remember . But when watching movies, everything was different, I felt like stepping into the character world, stepping into every situation the characters had, I understood to help them, I thought I was them, I learned a lot of things from movies, it's more like reality, it's more attractive and engaging.
