Non stop rain and no sun....

It rained heavily the whole of night yesterday. I could hear the clear pitter patter on the roof and loud thunderstorms throughout night. There was no sign of rain nor any prediction by weather forecast. It was a bright sunny day yesterday and we were enjoying our evening tea on our terrace under clear sky when all of a sudden it started to pour and we had to rush inside. We did not expect it to rain so much. But we were wrong.
We woke up to the the sound of rain and thunderstorm and it was there till breakfast. I cancelled my laundry plan for the day. Then post breakfast it drizzled for few hours and now it's 1:30 afternoon and it has completely stopped. But still there is no sign of sun.
It's green and pleasant outside. Birds have started coming out and chirping. Hopefully sun will show its face for a short time before it actually sets.

@arunima25 the hot sun is preferred here because I'm afraid that rains can give us the common cold and it can affect our immunity.

We had a little warm day yesterday. In our city it is very common to get shower at the end of a hot day. We have a pleasant weather through out the year.

Yesterday the day was a bit warm. And it is very common in Bangalore to get a good shower at the end of a hot day. The weather is quite pleasant right now.

@Butterfingers Yes. That's why even now the summers in Bangalore are better. Thought the city has also started getting bad summers since last few years.

I hope you enjoy rain. It makes weather pleasant. We had a sunny day so far. But all of a sudden dark clouds have come. Looks like another good shower is on the way.

Yes the sound of rain when we are indoors is pleasant. Good that the weather has become pleasant there.
