She was way too young. Twins! Lol! Hubs bought me that necklace for our first son’s wedding. He had the setting changed from white gold to yellow gold. You sure have a very expensive necklace!

@DianneN Mine is also white gold, because I like it more. My husband bought the necklace for our 40th anniversary.

@LadyDuck I needed yellow gold to go with my dress. Your husband is very generous with his expensive gifts to you.

No, it’s a friend from my town up north. Thanks. I’m so sad. She was so young and such a good mother and wife. Way too young, too.

@just4him She wanted a child so badly, but had to adopt a baby. She loved him so much. My other friend is doing okay and receiving some of the treatments down here. She won’t return to Long Island until the end of June. I hope it won’t be too late. We talk and text every day.

@DianneN I'm sure she was with an 11-year-old son. It is sad. I'm glad it's not your other friend. I think about her often too and hope she's doing well.

Just awful. She was so young and her son was adopted. She loved him beyond belief.

@kobesbuddy I know. In preparation, his mother sent him to therapy.

@DianneN I can't even imagine the pain this brings, to everyone involved! Just imagine that poor 11 year old boy, losing his mother

@DianneN , I know it is hard to accept but let's pray for the peace of her soul. At least she not suffering anymore. It's harder to see and watch her suffering in pain. Pray for the husband and children that he may accept it eventually. If we keep holding on so much their souls will have a difficult time to leave earth because she sees the whole family has not accepted it. Tell her that you'll always love her and think of her. I've lost my dad too but we told him, if he has to go, just go we'll be ok and he'll always be loved and remembered. Just continue praying all the time. Please take care of yourself too, she wouldn't want to see you like that because she loves you all so much. I may not understand your real pain, but please take care.

It wasn’t my daughter in law thank heaven, but my friend’s DIL. Almost as bad.

Thanks and I do realize that. However, finding out I was laughing and enjoying myself while she was taking her last breath hit me hard - after the fact. She was such a sweet girl.
