Lockdown has not kept me at home entirely, I have to bring and fetch my daughter to the hospital for duty a number of times.
The streets are deserted, the soldiers are at check-points, the travel to the hospital, believe me, is a mere quarter of an hour.
I drop my daughter at the front lobby. I wait as the guard checks her temperature, and she then proceeds to the semi-lit corridor. Or that is how it looks from my car. Or probably psychological, because I knew even the hospital chapel has been converted into a CoViD-19 emergency.
I have to pacify my heartbeats to normal every time I watch my daughter bravely enter the battlefield.
This mother prays.

Much respect to the frontliners in this battle against CoViD-19.
Unlike what the president said, to die because of CoViD-19 is not an honor.

@eileenleyva I don't tune in as well but I still want to be kept informed.
I want to do my share in correcting the spread of fake news.

@allen0187 The sinister faces and voices are simply too much for me. I cannot bring my self to watch and listen. This has happened when the goon Erap became president. I switched off all channels, print and broadcast.

An ugly thing to say. But nothing good comes out of that foul-mouthed of a creature.
Reason why I don't tune in to domestic news for some time now. I wouldn't want to go on cardiac arrest.

Your daughter is a frontliner! I wish she would be safe, just like my prayers for other frontliners in this COVID fight!

Yes. My daughter is a frontliner and she does not complain. The PPE, she said, makes one feel so hot, and the mask makes it difficult to breathe. But at the end of the day, said she, the gear becomes one with the body. One has just to do what one has got to do.
Thank you very much for the prayers. Means a lot to those who are physically drained now.

She is very brave indeed. I am truly amazed at how my "Little Foot" has become a very fine doctor. I thought she would become a musician. She opted for a greater calling.
