April 26 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Yes, I will. It's been a very good day.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. I slept a little later than I wanted, but it all worked out. I had my medication by 4:15. Close enough.
I'm thankful for my knees. No pain. I love mornings like that and probably why I slept so long. They're a bit tender right now for good reason.
I'm thankful for the walk I had this afternoon. I've gotten all my steps and a look at my fitness tracker shows I'll be well over 10,000 steps before I go to bed. I'm almost there right now. There was also a vehicle birthday parade that was really cool. One of the vans passed me and they blew bubbles out of the van. It made me smile.
I'm thankful for food. I went to the store because I didn't know what I wanted to eat for lunch. I thought about a steak sandwich and found the perfect steaks for one. I looked for bread too, but since I haven't really had bread in the past three years and certainly didn't buy any, I didn't this time either. So, lunch today was the steak, riced sweet potato and cauliflower, and sliced onion. I just calculated my food for the day and it's very good.
I'm thankful for Vendetta. I have all the pieces in place and it flows well. Now to get back to where I left off. It should flow well from now on. I know when I had a problem with Freedom's Cry, I couldn't seem to move forward with it until I realized I had the whole timeline way off on that one too. With that, it was a matter of forgetting what year the Revolutionary War started. When I realized my mistake and corrected it, the rest of the book flowed. This one will too now that I've gotten it straightened out. Being an author is hard work.
So now that my brain is fried for the rest of the day, I'm going to get my bicep curls taken care of while I watch TV. It always makes it easier to focus on something else while working out.
How did your Sunday go? What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image is mine.

My Sunday wasn't too bad. The weather was poopy, and we finally had thunder and lightning after a very long time of not having it. Which I hate. Lol. Got steps in though and enjoyed ham and mashed potatoes for dinner. And my brother stopped by.

Sounds like a good day there, and that is great to hear! Was alright here too. Stuck to my work out and got 2 hours in....hoping it shows on the scale soon.

I haven't really thought much about it. I guess I thought it was like posting a list and I still get confused with all the rules. Oddly today I think I am most grateful for sunshine. I brought up the dandelions and those who know me, know they are close to my heart. If you don't know the story let me and I will share it.

There aren't any rules for this post. It's good to know you're thankful for something in your day.
I don't know about the dandelions.
