Many of the people who have Barbies have at some point inevitably gotten their hair tangled (unless you are one those people who collect barbies and wouldn’t dare left oxygen brush its plastic or rubber face. (And it isn’t creepy at all for Ted, a 43 year old man to have a doll collection in his basement, along with several artificial rubber organs and limbs. Maybe the guy likes rubber, we don’t know. We also don’t know what’s in those trash bags and 17 coolers which he is oddly protective of.)
Obviously you want it back to its original state until oxygen defiles its perfect hair. You made your choice, you could have been like Ted and let no impuritys touch tarnish its sacred hair. But no, you chose to give it to a 5 year old.
Anyway, despite Molly being 5 years old, you trust her not to do any damage. Molly is responsible, she makes her bed everyday without being asked.
So after you have foolishly opened a limited edition (do you even know what limited means?!) and given it to a five year old she will proceed to do horrible things to it (Ted’s words, not mine)
At some point down the road (9 days later) Barbie will look like she escaped from an asylum.
So how do you hide her so they don’t take her back.
Well the logical thing to do would be clear your mind, like Ted does, with long drives in his white van.
Naturally Molly will desire to either
1. Cutting her hair off
2. Decide to comb her hair with your brush, because she can’t find Barbies, and now you should probably disinfect it. Meanwhile Barbie’s head is at the other end of the room. Ted has a plastic head in his room (hey, that rhymed!) Or
3. put shampoo in her hair and very little water so she looks like she’s flying across the room like all the other heads did.
If her hair is too tangled do not attempt to brush it in clumps. If it is barely tangled and your able to brush it out, then what are you complaining about? You’re over reacting like Ted does when he hears a doorbell or see’s a cop car.
First put her head under water (at least you got that part right)
You are going to want to start rubbing conditioner, or maybe you don’t (why are you here?!)
Condition it in small sections, not all at once. Periodically put her hair under the water and recondition in sections. Repeat this process until hair is smoothed enough to be able to brush it. Swirl her hair in hot water, and brush until it’s dry.
Or you could just type “how to clean Barbie hair” into a search bar and find easier instructions. I just wasted several minutes of your like, you are welcome (into Ted’s basement.)
