What is for lunch?

What's everyone having for lunch this afternoon? I had some avocados that were finally ripe and some cilantro that was on its last legs so I decided to make some guacamole. The only other thing I needed was fresh lime juice and I have plenty of those. It is so easy to make. So I had tortilla chips and some guacamole. There is plenty left for another couple of snacks. What did everyone else have?

@NJChicaa me too. You have to buy them and then use them the moment they are ready no matter what you have planned I always want them for a recipe today , and the store will only have hard ones

@paigea When I need them totally ripe I go to the local Mexican grocery. They always have ripe ones.

I always have a hard time with avocados. I buy them when they are rock hard and then I forget about them until they are too mushy and rotten.

What I ate for lunch about an hour and a half ago was cream of mushroom soup and a chicken sandwich. It was good, although I've been consuming soups for lunch a lot lately. So tomorrow I'll have to come up with something else to eat for lunch instead.

@NJChicaa I like homemade cream of mushroom soup as well. However, I also like cream of mushroom soup from a can as well.

guac and chips sounds great, I've only made homemade guacamole once I'm about to make grilled cheese with tomato and turkey and the rest of my morning coffee. I'm hungrier than I realized

@NJChicaa that seems more healthier than potatoes. Thanks.

I just had a small Michelina's TV dinner thing. I wasn't that hungry, but yogurt didn't seem to make too much sense on a cool day like this one.

I had yogurt. Probably will have soup later on or chicken nuggets and a baked potato with sour cream.
