A Good Shopping Day

Only one item will go back. I bought a Packers hoodie in my size. It's too small. It was also the largest one they had and it was on sale. I can only think it was a child's size and not an adult, though it looked like an adult hoodie.
I bought a few things I've been wanting but didn't really need. Though I did forget to buy something for lunch. I have food, so I'm not worried about it.
I needed a larger kitchen trash can. The one I had was even smaller than the one I threw out a couple of months ago. This one is perfect. I also got a pressure cooker crockpot. It's almost like an instant pot. From what I read on both, it does the same thing as an instant pot. I also got two blankets for my bed. The blankets I have I think I got when I was still married, so it is definitely time to replace them. I found a few movies, a couple of them classics to add to my movie cabinet. I also bought bananas and potatoes.
I checked my bank balance and with what I spent this morning, I'm doing very well. I didn't spend as much as I thought I would. I think I did well injecting money back into the economy. They gave it to us to spend. It felt good to spend it for what I wanted and not what I needed.
When I left it wasn't raining. It was very windy though, so those gusts to 40 mph the weatherman was talking about are very real. It was raining when I got out of Wal-Mart and with the wind, I had to hold my hat on my head. Next time I'll rethink going anywhere in this kind of weather.
How is your weather? Have you done any shopping lately for what you want and not what you need? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

It was a picture-perfect Florida spring day, mild temperatures, gentle breezes, and clear blue skies. A great day to be outside. We won't have many more of those days before it gets too hot and humid to be outside.

@just4him Trust me, I have been outside enjoying it every day! We're going to have a rainy day here soon (I think the storms roll in tonight and will be here most of the day tomorrow), so I will have to take a little break from the great outdoors, But I'm hoping it will be beautiful again by the weekend.

@moffittjc I hope it is. Do you have a tournament this weekend or only practice?

Sounds like you did good on your shopping trip. Isn't it nice to have money to spend on things you want.
I haven't decided yet what I'm going to use my stimulus check for but I've wanted a new bed/ mattress for awhile.

The weather has been very nice today, but it is supposed to rain tomorrow..or maybe later this evening, and it is starting to look like it now. I have done some shopping..I have a couple of things picked out..but haven't bought them yet.

@just4him I think so. It has been doing a lot of raining and winding around here lately.

I've done a lot of buying on Amazon. It's hard for me to get out and do a lot of walking right now. Be careful with your pressure cooker crockpot. I've seen some horrendous pictures on Facebook where they have exploded. There was damage to kitchens as well as some people's faces and hands.

I'm glad you enjoyed your shopping trip... unfortunately the only shops open here are grocery stores/supermarkets so no shopping here for us at the moment...well nothing interesting that is...just groceries.. but I am looking forward to when the other stores open again and I'm glad you got what you wanted and enjoyed the time out spending it...

We have a cloudy day at 16°C. My husband wanted us to go grocery shopping now but I said no as there would be plenty of people in line inside and outside of the supermarket because tomorrow is a holiday here. We would go grocery shopping on Monday then.

I have never heard of a pressure cooker crockpot. So does it start out as a pressure cooker and then turns into a crockpot? Is that how it goes? You really got a lot. I am glad your bank account is in good shape. It is nice here. Sorry about your weather. I had to go out today and got groceries again. I hope I am set for a while.

Sounds like some good purchases, that's great to be able to get some things that you wanted rather than just what you needed!

Partly cloudy, with a chance of rain, we expect rain at around 10pm..
When I go shopping I buy both what I need and what I don't need, I get it when I get home

Our sun is out and the clouds are gone.
I've done that too. It's when I get home with what I thought I needed that I find I have a good supply already. That's what happened when I accidentally bought two more boxes of eggs because I thought I needed eggs. That gave me five boxes in my fridge. At 5 dozen per box, I had lots of eggs. I still have a box and a half. I'm finding with the egg shortage that happened, I'm glad I had the extra.

@LowRiderX I'm on a limited income, so I shop once a month when I get my check. I usually get two or three boxes of eggs because that's what I go through in a month. With a box and a half left in the fridge, I went through three boxes in the past month since I bought those eggs.
I'm glad you like eggs too. Wal-Mart is the only place that has boxes of eggs. I have a one-dozen carton I use so I'm not taking out the full box every time I want a couple of eggs.

@just4him Oh you made me laugh...five boxes of eggs. But I'm the same... I MUST, literally MUST have enough eggs, because when I don't have eggs it's like my fridge is empty even though it's full, I know exactly that feeling

All sunshine here. No fun shopping. I got a new mouse for the desktop delivered yesterday as the old one was acting hinky.
