Baked Potatoes

Part of my dinner will be a baked potato tonight. I do love a nice baked potato.
Right now the potatoes are in the air fryer and they smell so good.
The air fryer makes the potato just like you get in a restaurant. A crispy skin ( but not too crispy ) with a soft and fluffy inside.
I'll top my potato with some sour cream and have it with some roasted chicken and carrots.
Can't wait to eat...I'm hungry today!!

@Marilynda1225 Mine are probably just a lazy version of what your Mom made. I use bisquick, I don't make my dumplings from scratch.

I've never been able to recreate her chicken and dumplings so maybe it was just the way she prepared it or maybe I just have such good memories of her in the kitchen.
I love Bisquick and especially love the coffee cake recipe (and of course pancakes/waffles)

Chicken and dumplings are something I haven't had in ages. Makes me think of my mom who made the best in her Dutch oven.

@Marilynda1225 I almost got potatoes for baking today, but opted not to at the last minute. i need to clean out the fridge (eat) the food we have there then CLEAN the fridge.

@ScribbledAdNauseum that makes sense to eat what you have before you get more. It certainly makes cleaning the fridge easier if there's less food.

mmmmm that sounds nice... well except the carrot... lol, but baked potato and chicken and coleslaw is one of my favourite meals...

We had homemade pizza but early around 430-5. But we made peanut butter and fluff fluffy sandwiches around 10pm

Oooh, baked potatoes sound so good. We have not done baked potatoes in the air fryer, but half baked potatoes we have and they are amazing!
We are having tuna cups!

I’m cooking up meatloaf and I’m going to do mashed potatoes for dinner and veggies for one kid that doesn’t like potatoes for dinner tonight. Right now the meatloaf is cooking us so I’m chilling and watching tv while that cooks a bit. Before I start the potatoes and the veggies because they won’t take long.

@Marilynda1225 yes it does and we had some corn as well. The only bad thing is I left out ketchup this time because my 7 year doesn’t like it o the inside and of course I lost a lot of wettness so the stop was a bit over cooked.
