Labor Day in my country. COVID-19

There are two different kinds of people in my country.
Those who do different activities during this day to remember all those people than fight for better working conditions for workers. These people march and syndicates leaders talk. All this is not done this year because of the social distance and the COVID-19.
Then there the people who are not interested in other people, who try to go where they want to whether it is legal or not and who do not keep the social distance. Here, during this holiday, people try to go to the beach in spite of the laws against it. Small beach towns don´t have the means to take care of more people infected with the virus. Many don´t even wear masks while they are all together buying fresh fish from the fishermen. They must think that they are immortal.
I have seen in the news many so called immortal people everywhere in the world. Maybe they are the aliens we have heard about these last days.
Good morning to Friday, Labor Day. I´ll go and get my coffee. See you.

I know. And I don´t understand why they are not punished as they should.

@LadyDuck I have discovered that rules are not for the wealthy or for those with power.

@marguicha I wonder why too, laws and rules are made to be respected, if not why to waste time to dictate rules?

Those should be punished now in what hurts them most. In my country, a couple of weeks a go, a medical doctor went to the supermarket without a permit or a mask.

@marguicha Some doctors seem to think they are immune. You'd think they'd be the first to take all the precautions they could.

The people without the masks are the ones that are keeping us in lockdown.
