I found a kind of fruit which looked unique to me at the market yesterday. I asked the seller about its name, and he told me that it's white fig. As I was so curious to know how it tasted, so I bought a pack of it.
Just now I tried one of the fruits.
Hmm..I'm disappointed with it. It's tasteless. I wish it tasted sweet.
I don't have idea of how people eat this kind of fruit.

I wish they were sweet. If they're unripe, why did they were sold in the market?

@Miss_Leafy I've seen very unripe peaches and strawberries and perhaps some other fruit in the stores. And definitely I've seen some overly ripe figs (I was surprised to see them in January - they were brown figs and expensive - but they looked too old).

@much2say Why do people sell very unripe or very ripe fruits. This confuses me .

It's my first time too. I bought it because it looked interesting, and I like to try new fruits.

Lol. Yes, I really regretted myself for buying those fruits. I thought about using them in salad, but I was impatient. I threw them away without thinking.

Figs are my favorite fruit To me these in the picture look like they are not matured. They must be sweet. The whole contents are eaten from the inside, someone eats them with all the crust, I can too but only when they are overripe and soft
To me, it looks like you tasted unripe fruit.

@Miss_Leafy It is an imported fruit, it is always imported immature, it matures over time. This is also what happens here with some southern fruit, with bananas, with pomegranate too

Hmm... I guess I did. It's really disappointing that people sell fruits which are not matured yet.
