Making Suman

Hello everyone! How is your Sunday? I hope it is fine. My friend visited me this afternoon although only 2 meters away from each other. She brought me a pack of apple juice from their vacation house town, a rose plant and a can of coconut milk. I am happy to see her as we have not seen each other for a month. I am glad that she brought me a can of coconut milk as I need it for making suman, a Filipino glutinous rice delicacy packed them in wilted banana leaves. I am making suman now. I will give some of the suman to my Filipino friends who are living nearby. Anyway, time is really fast. I will be walking again with my friend when the weather is good this week. We will be walking together with social distancing. It is weird but it is for our own sake. Have a nice day everyone. Thank you always. Take care and safety.

I know @LowRiderX. The Germans are not doing that, too. It is an Asian kind of cooking.

When I first saw the photo I thought it was going to be a different kind of tamales...lol. It sounds like it would be very tasty.

I also like the cassava one Ms.T. You remind me that of my mother. She's expert on making that and then paired with mango slices or a "sekwate". I think I'll be cooking biko on the 6th because it's her birthday.

Cassava bibingka is also yummy @ZedSmart. It reminded me also of my late mother. Have you cooked biko on her birthday?
