A Year of Dinners: 5.3.2020: Bacon Cheeseburgers and Checkers Fries

It's been a weird weekend, which I suppose makes sense because the last couple of weeks have been pretty weird. So I didn't feel like going all out for dinner, but still wanted to cook. So I made bacon cheeseburgers, and Checkers Fries. Checkers is also known as Rally's up north, and Walmart/Dollar General sell their fries in the frozen food section. They are pre-seasoned and everything, so they make for a good side with burgers and other stuff. So that's what we had here, what went on the table at your place?

Sounds really good! I think I have tried their fries that you can buy at Wal-Mart though I have never been to one of the restaurants. I had chicken and fries....but back to my diet tomorrow

We don't have one of the restaurants here but there was one in Pensacola. They have good milkshakes

I had some leftover rice so I heated it. I served it with half a smoked bratwurst and a fried egg. I also made a lettuce salad.

It is already midnight here in the Philippines. And earlier, when my mom arrived here at our home, she cooked Bicol Express. It has pork, coconut milk, and a lot of chili in it. It is so perfect with white rice.
