John Roberts suggested this topic as a countdown, given how a lot of people are “locked down” due to the pandemic. So, why not reward him? Maybe he wondered if I’d include this song. Of course I would! Here’s today’s song with “jail” or “prison” in the title. #7: Prisoner in Disguise - Linda Ronstadt See you tomorrow. Oh, wait...there’s J.D. Souther, Linda’s best boyfriend (in terms of love and talent), who wrote this incredible tune...and sings harmony with Linda on it. Maybe one day I should do an FOL (Friends of Linda) countdown. You know J.D. will be on it. Meanwhile, enjoy a song that was written nearly 45 years ago but sounds like it was written yesterday. And when you hear Ronstadt’s magical voice, you will enjoy it.
