Are you gaining weight in this lockdown

I am discussing something very obvious for this lockdown period , I have been feeding my stomach certainly more than I would usually need. With the extension in lockdown aka lockdown 3 , I seemed to have immuned for this situation of staying home , be a couch potato and life seems moving within fridge , mobile phone , laptop and bed. I would notice that I am getting phone calls from such friends whom I had not spoken for long and so do I .
Besides, I am seeing variety of delicacies cooked and shared on one facebook page that I would follow very sincerely by checking almost all updates and even writing to poster`s pictures but alas ... I am now saturated to look all that refined butter , oil and unhealthy oil drenched food. In the beginning , the world around was certainly out of sorts and was very unpredictable for upcoming few days , so my parents had me stock all the grains and suggested me to buy food items in abundance to not encounter any sort of scarcity.
How is Covid in your area and are the patients growing in count or if they are reducing in count?
I am actually curious to know if the temperature has anything to do with this virus and I just dont blindly trust on the words of all popular quotes by doctors on Covid as they are announcing firmly that weather has no relation to the virus. I mean if the pandemic is so new to have a lot to explore then how can even WHO or doctors should announce any of such 'temperature to virus relationship' in such advance ??

Even here in India there is a little relaxation from before but I just had noticed that one of my ex colleagues from Israel got stranded in Goa in India. It is a tourist destination and from all his pictures it seems as if there is no such stringent restrictions in Goa , it is actually the place in India that has been least impacted by Covid cases.

This is quite surprising and I thought by being in lock down that I would actually put on weight but on the contrary I have been losing weight which I am pleased about. I have been eating less, almost rationing if you like. The lock down has had a positive effect for me personally as I was slightly over weight. When the lock down was first introduced everyone over here started panic buying and being silly when there was no need as they kept on saying that there was more than enough food for everyone.
I must admit that I have suffered a little from what is known as cabin fever, not getting out and about and so forth. I have been exercising within my home and I am now so appreciative of the two pieces of exercise equipment that I have in my home.
In terms of the science I am not sure I understand everything they say but I just want this lock down to end as soon as possible as this would be good for everyone's mental state. Stay safe.

Oh, I don't know where I would be without my exercise equipment during this lock down. I have two main pieces of equipment that I use. One is an elliptical machine and simulates cycling, walking and running and the other is an AB crunch machine that basically works on strengthening your abdominal muscles. I think if I have an elliptical machine and an AB crunch machine then that just about covers a whole body work out!
I love cycling outside and I am really missing this, hopefully once the lock down ends I can get back out there. I wish you well and hope that you are able to get back to your exercise equipment. Thanks and stay safe.

Well I would not deny or hide that I am not the one who did not buy no panic , rather I must admit that I had stocked some edibles and grains in a fear of scarcity . Later, I realized that I am equally silly as others are who pilled up such items in plenty over their consumption or usage limits.
Your exercising equipment just caught my attention because I am certainly missing mine that I have in Bangalore but I am stranded in my hometown with my parents. By the way what have you got as exercising equipments?
Even another mylotter wrote about losing his weight during this lockdown just like you but I feel I can not control my temptations. I would rather appreciate that such fatty foods should not be around otherwise I would keep on eating them ....

It's still rising unfortunately. I also gained some weight since I was not able to go for my usual walk outside.

@cherriefic Maybe for few days you may try to take early dinner and late breakfast if you wish. It may bring some change.
