I've been reading and watching the news about the Shutdown of ABS-CBN.
I've noticed that there are conflicting statements from NTC and BIR and SEC.
Anyways, what can you say about this shutdown?
Do you think it is reasonable and valid?
Do you think this is the right time to do it?
Let me know what you think.

I heard it was ordered by the Supreme Court and then enacted by the NTC. Right now i could place the blame on Congress for being slow in approving legitimize the network's franchise. Their franchise issue even went hot seat on the senate.
It's not shutdown permanently,t hey can still air their shows and news in other platforms still. The rest shouting about press freedom are nothing more than stupid drama.

I am a bit sad for the 11, 000 employees that are affected. It is not easy to find a job nowadays, especially in our situation.
Having a problem in business is natural. In short, it is natural to have a problem or misunderstanding, and I believe that it will not be too long the ABS CBN will come back.
The thing is we should not accuse anyone who is in fault, it is okay to show sympathy, the sad thing is people in twitter are keep on accusing someone even we don't know who is the real in a fault.
But what I realized is that they are politicians, and there are politicians, they'll use this situation of ABS CBN so that the public will be on their side.

I think NTC is reasonable. Abs-cbn should not suppose to ask payments to people when they should not.
