Shooting in Space

So guys..I just heard the news that Tom Cruise is going to shoot his next movie in Space.
Yes you heard it right. Tom Cruise just confirmed that in partnership with NASA, he is going to shoot a movie is space. I mean is there anything left for this guy to do in his movies. He has done some pretty crazy stuffs in his movies (All mission impossible). He actually flied Fighter Jets in Top Gun, but this is something out of this world. He is going to be the first person to shoot a movie is space. This guy is really special.
What do you guys think about this.

Sounds like an insane waste of money to me. I think NASA can be put to better use than shooting hollywood films.

@paigea Maybe. Or maybe it is just NASA's sad new life as a production company instead of space exploration. Which, I've always been torn about space exploration anyway. Look at what we've done to our own planet. Do we really need to spread that to others?
