Are we living in the "end times?"

Based on all the things that are happening now, it is hard to think we are not. Covid 19, which I was just reading some would refuse to get vaccinated even if one is available..which could screw everything up for everyone else, Global Warming Famine seeming to affect even rich countries at this time, now the "murder bee." We have done a grand job of screwing up our planet. What do you think, is the world near an extinction? Will those who are right with God be saved?
Personally, I think we are living in the end times..but they may last awhile, maybe decades, maybe a hundred years or more.

Not at all, take a look at 1918 and tell me that wasn't even more of an end time. The end time will be when God decides and man will not affect that.

Corona is just one facet of the situation.

@snowy22315 Yes but 1918 saw the very tail end of World War I and lots of other things were going on as well.

I have heard too many times about "the end of times". But the virus is a reality and also the global warming. And it is also true that we are the worst predators

Yes, indeed with our big brains we should be able to figure something out, but with not everybody onboard it makes it much more difficult.

I don't really believe in that stuff to be honest. If I did, I'd have to agree with you that it wouldn't be so quick. It would be a culmination of things. I do think, if there ever will be an "end times", it won't be because of a God, but because of mankind.

Yes" we inhabited a near perfect planet and managed to destroy it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Yes, that is because most people are homebound.

@snowy22315 I haven't heard of any reports since Earth Day, but all day Earth Day the news outlets were talking about how much less pollution is in the world at the moment...

For the religious, maybe the answer is yes. But for me, we really cannot tell if this is just one of those exciting and challenging times.

Exciting? I can certainly live without this kind of excitement.

This is what they are saying centuries ago. I think it is really near already. We just have to be ready.

Not sure there is too much we can do really..other than maybe try to get right with God.

@Allionnazxyl I don't have a lot of belief in that type of thing, but hey it doesn't hurt!

I think that we are definitely in the "end times" and have been for a while. We have no idea how long they will be. A big change is certainly closer!
There are some Scriptures that show that the end time will come by surprise and it will not be when everybody is loaded down with problems but when most people think that all is going fine.

I hope it doesn't happen in my lifetime, or that of my son.

@snowy22315 Many have tried to figure out the times and the seasons. I found 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 interesting and encouraging.

We've been living in the "end times" since the beginning of time. But we've only been counting for the past 2000 years.

I think this is clearly a warning, but if you’re meaning the Biblical end days, 1/3 of the population will die in the first plague, and this hasn’t infected 1/3 or 1% of the earth’s population.

You may see that by the time this thing is all done. Yes, I am talking about Biblical end times.

If we are not heading to the beginning (that already went by, didn't it) we have to be heading toward the end. We just don't know when it will be and it doesn't matter. Some have never read any of God's words to give this a thought.

I think a lot are thinking it is the end times, but only God knows for sure. I’m finding it hard to believe that my grandparents lived through the Spanish Flu, but I never heard them talk about it. I know that I’ll never forget the Coronavirus.

Are we leaving in the end times??
It's hard to tell. It seems so but remember there is nothing new under the sun. Things like this happened before in the past.
Wars and rumours of wars , pandemics and the like the world has seen such before.
Nothing new .. I focus on the good I give thanks and life goes on

In the past though, I don't think that many things were happening at once..Climate change, worldwide pandemic, murder bees, bee pop disappearing etc. Crazy dictators etc.

@snowy22315 good observation maybe we are indeed leaving in the last days . But as for the world end I think it will stick around for quite some time.
Am sure you and me will be long gone before it finally ends
