Its now a two horse race, Man U or Chelsea.
Both teams won tonight, Man u 3-0 against Everton and Chelsea beating Bolton 1-0.
So will this be Man U's season after Chelsea's domination of the past 2 seasons

Personally I would like to see Manchester United win because Christiano Ronaldo was formed in and played for my team Sporting Club de Portugal and Carlos Queiroz lives about 150 yards from me. I see him in the local café many times when he is here and have spoken to him. Nice fellow. As for Chelsea you can take Mourinho and stick him where the sun don't shine. And while you're at it do the same for Paulo Ferreira. Ricardo Carvalho is okay but I didn't like him much when he played for Porto. He injured one of our players seriously and didn't get a yellow card nor was he plenalized.

I am a Manchester United fan and a very honest, critical one at that. I accept Man Utd are playing with more drive and desire this season but they have some alarming weaknesses for a top team. There is no defensive midfielder, a position where Chelsea are very strong with Makelele, Essien and L Diarra. There is no squad depth and injuries will surely bite as 3, even 4 competitions take their toll and Rio Ferdinand is sorely lacking in pace and concentration and is exposed quite often. I hope the good run can continue but while my heart says Man Utd, my head says Chelsea again.

Gary, very astute summary and I get the feeling that although Man Utd are top and 3 point clear, they really need to not slip up anywhere. Because Chelsea showed this past week that they do not make many mistakes - a draw at Old Trafford and a win at Bolton was a great return from two NW trips. If Chelsea had lost at Old Trafford - and they came close - and then Bolton buoyed by their good win over Arsenal a few days before, I believe Utd would have drawn on that for confidence and after all they'd have been 9 enormous points clear. But Utd have shown in Europe especially this year a frailty in from of goal and a great reliance on Ronaldo, Rooney and to a lesser extent, Saha on creativity. Carrick has not found any kind of form to justify an £18m tag and has little impact on a game. They really lack a true LEADER on the pitch, but they could still win the league if Chelsea had a hiccup, but Utd can ill afford one of their own.

I feel that Man Utd has every chance to win the premiership this season. My club, Arsenal has slipped up lots of points and when left with a Chelsea vs Man U choice, I root for Man U. Take mourinho and shove him where the sun don't shine.

I think it is possible.
Manchester United have excellent player Like Cristiano Ronaldo, Ryan Giggs, Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand.
I think only chelsea and ManUtd can win 2006/2007 EPL.
