No matter how upfront one is of the pandemic, the defense mode comes in play when one needs to got out - for errands and other matters.
So I saw my self in full battle gear again this morning - hair tightly braided, face mask pinned with hair clips, and the blue raincoat that somehow conceals the weight I have gained. The waistline is a little tight and I was afraid the plastic would tear. Ha ha It didn't.
People were trying to see thru me, perhaps wanting to know who I am. I was the only odd out, everybody's in shirt and shorts and even spaghetti straps. They must be wondering how I could done such a thing in the heat. Believe me, it was hot.
I cannot take a risk, though. We must take care of our body as if we have to live forever, said one saint I forgot who.

When someone would go out, we always remind the "armas" or the weapons - face mask, quarantine past, money, and phone.

I give the card. I wouldn't want to accept change.
But I did, at the convenient store. Shucks. Small sum kasi.

Wow you really went prepared to be out. . Anyway I am wondering if you could have some picture to show in here. As many says better prepared.
I usually have only face mask with me with some tissue in between as an additional filter. That one alone is really hard for me to breathe normally. It really creates a lot of anxiety about getting out already. It is indeed something that we have to get use to in the coming days.

I do not know how to take a full body shot selfie, to show the gear but if ever my daughter has a break from the hospital and we go out for grocery, I would ask her to capture our images.
Please, the CoViD-19 carries the novel coronavirus, exposure is detrimental to the health. Face mask in not enough. Wear a jacket and gloves, even if it is hot. The ncov is lethal.

@eileenleyva Anyway we will see what additional gears I can but for now face mask is the only one plus constant washing of hands after I come back from outside. So far the few times we have had gone out looks like we have not have the virus yet.

@rsa101 My daughter is home with her PPE's. Yes, I did wash those in the tub. I did ask if I could wear one during our grocery. She said yes but then, sigh, it's so big on me. Ha ha.
So, yes again, we did wear our rain coats yesterday, when we went to the supermarket. I forgot the picture taking. It was raining and parking was difficult.
Please see to it the virus never comes. Don't wait for it, too.

The medical advice couldn't be more emphatic - CoViD is highly contagious.

I didn't have combat boots. My daughter said I must wear plastic underneath the socks.
Gosh, this war makes me look so funny, really. But I can't afford the risk.
Thanks, Arya.

Yes. The virus lurks somewhere where it is ready to claim us as their host. Do not let those detestable virus have the better of us.
Bring sanitizers also when you go out.
