Have you ever come across the two principles for a Happy Life? I believe a life lived with absence of happiness is not worth living at all. Happiness should be the ultimate purpose of everyone's existence.
1. Use things, Not people
2. Love people, Not things
How do you think these two principles could translate into happiness. ??
I will be glad to learn and get insight from your point of view. Thanks

There is a saying it's better to give than to recieve, and when you give something to someone that is showing love to them. So you are doing both things correctly - using things as you give them away to someone and loving someone as you give them the gift. And giving gifts and also helping people brings happiness.

Thank you for sharing. When I was manager of an office, my motto is to blame the situation, never people. blame.

@Helikaputo there is a modern saying here that when you use people then you are committing a sin. What that means is when you take advantage of people. But using people in general is good because you give them work or job.

Yes.. it is so precious value we can learn.
1. Dont use people because someone will leave me when they know we use them. Use means only when we can take advantages of it. It is so cruel
2. In other hands... love people. Love will be exsisting ever after. Although it give advantages or not

WoW! That's a lovely thought. But sadly people in pursuit of external happiness start doing otherwise and land up being miserable when it comes to inner happiness.
