I took Angel for a walk, came home, went in the backyard and got a rake. I raked up most of the trimmings from when my brother's girlfriend was here this weekend and "weed whacked", put it in the 12-gallon Rubbermaid can and took it down the side of the house. I was passing the garage side door when the phone rang, so I went in the garage to try to answer it via the rotary phone, but--duh--it's not connected to the inside phones, which are connected to the answering machine (I could hear the person's voice, but my picking up the rotary phone didn't interrupt the answering machine). So, I went inside, grabbed the inside phone and interrupted the message my co-worker was leaving. Anywho, she had left a message earlier asking if I'd been shopping yet. I called and left a message with her saying no, so she was calling me back saying she could take me this afternoon after she had done some stuff. That's totally fine, as I have plenty to do around here. I took a couple of bags of garbage out, may have one more to take out, and then...oh, yeah, I have dishes to wash, and by that time it should be time for lunch.
