Golden shower tree

I feel like this spring -summer I have missed out on a lot. The beauty of the trees blooming outside, the birds in the lakes, the little creatures in the parks and forested areas. This lockdown has cut me off from all these things. However on Sunday evening with the relaxation on the lockdown we were able to go on a long drive, away from the city into the rural suburbs and it was a magnificent sight. The trees have almost done blooming , we are almost at the end of the season, but I was happy to have caught a few glimpses of beauty before the flowers were all gone. The Golden shower tree not at its best in this picture, but just about there. The flowers have faded with age , but it was magnificent all the same to me. I couldn't be happier that we were able to go on that drive to be close to nature and marvel at her beauty.

Such a beautiful tree! I love how bright it is. I'm able to see a bit of nature from my balcony but not quite the same as going out.

Huge difference Doc, a huge difference. I didn't realize it until I was out looking at all the trees and flowers.
