Hi, so I want to go to school because I had tried it in the past for quite some time and failed. I couldn't find my passion and I think I do now. I like working with computers and the specific thing I like doing, I never thought it could be a job until a You-tuber mentioned it. It's working with Adobe products such as video editing and pictures to fix. I liked doing that since young age. My dad however has his construction business going on and he made a flipping houses business for my brothers and me. One who decided to leave because he didn't know what he was doing so he decided to just focus on his career since my dad started this business after he got his degree. I don't like construction because of the physical hard work, heat on Spring/Summer and freeze on Fall/Winter and so obviously, indoor offices there's heaters and AC's. My dad is always desperate to know though, what am I gonna do with a piece of paper, referring to a diploma if I do end up graduating, when he can offer so much more. He mentioned as well as my other family that for me to understand that I am not going to work, I am going to demand and order the workers what to do. He says the only reason he makes me work right now is because he wants me to know how hard the work is but I am not gonna be doing that for the rest of my life. He included to get the idea of me being able to chose my vacation time, the fact that I get to show up to work whenever I want, and the money. But being in the cold or heat, well that idea looks whack. Right now he helped me built up...well lets just say the digits are $???,??? and counting. I am thinking of freelancing with the Adobe. Just mentioning it because of maybe even more excuse I can learn myself rather than school since my brother did say that most people go to school because it is required a degree to get a job but some things people can learn on their own. I'd like to be a freelancing in video and pictures. But then with dad's business, am I stupid if I let this opportunity go?
Thanks

You can do both since you're just planning to be a freelancer. That means you should have a flexible time even if you work for your Dad.
