My mother is a retired nurse who worked as a nurse for as long as I can remember. She many times told us stories of this wonderful lady who made it possible for nurses all over the world to be looked at as professionals. She told us how brave this lady was and how she assisted many military men and women during war times and that wherever she went to work the death rate of the wounded soldiers would reduce.
Her name was Florence Nightingale.
She died at the age of 90 she transformed the nursing profession
Today the 12th of May the world celebrates Nurses Day
Thought I should also share something about this wonderful Lady Florence Nightingale who was My Hero's Hero
Happy Nurses Day to our Nurses World over Both retired and Serving .

@Helikaputo Yes, they really do and ask for nothing in return. All medical staff are my heroes.

@simone10 so nice of you. And I do agree with you because they are aways nice and kind and as long as we are there they are always helpful.
And what is amazing is they are people just like us and yet they attend to us so graciously with kindness
