Oh well, they have 9 other reasons to be happy, lol. -Have you ever noticed that all your fingernails don't grow at the same pace? It's true, your fingernails grow faster on your dominant hand and fingernails grow fastest on your bigger fingers. -Did you know their was a disagreement on the way to answer the phone. We usually answer the phone with the word "Hello" but when people began using them they used the word "Ahoy!" -You can thank Alexander Graham Bell, the phone inventor, for the ship reference. Bell’s rival, Thomas Edison, believed “Hello” was more appropriate. And, according to The New York Times, by 1880, “hello” had won out. Hope you found these interesting obscure facts entertaining.
