People around the world enjoy to drink alcohol like whisky, Rum , Vodka and bear. Most are social drinkers but some like to enjoy it daily without a break.
So here comes Corona and there is total lockdown. All wine shops are forced to close. The social drinkers were not really affected but the habitual drinkers became worried and tried all means to get their daily quota of alcohol which they failed miserably. Many had to be hospitalised due to withdrawal symptoms. Few died drinking hand sanitisers which contain 70% alcohol. Government also lost excise revenue an important revenue source.
Alcohol seems to have become more important than food for those affects by the ban on wine shops. As Corona looses steam and lockdown being slowly phased out the habitual drinkers are pretty relieved that wine shops are slowly back into business on certain days and start once again their habit of drinking.
Hope the habitual drinkers take care of their health and their family.

There is liquor ban here during the lockdown. Stores are prohibited to sell intoxicating drinks.

@jayanth_77 sorry, I don't know the habitual drinkers here because I seldom socialize with the neighborhood.

This could be a great opportunity to reflect and make adjustments to a drinking habit . One can now gauge , the depth of his habit if its dangerous or manageable ..
