All of our Presidents have told lies. The truth is some of them have been mostly known for a single big lie: President George H. W. Bush said "Read my lips, n new taxes..." President Clinton said "I didn't have sex with that woman..." President George W. Bush swore Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction... President Barack Obama said "If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor"... Donald Trump said...never mind, it would take me the next four years to list them all because he's told over 18,000 lies. 18,000 LIES according to the Washington Post! It's so bad sometimes people are hard pressed to recall even one. His predecessors should have tossed in a few more whoppers then maybe everyone would have forgotten them all! Anyway, today isn't one of those days that it's hard to recall just one. Today Donald Trump made the claim that he's been taking the drug he'd been promoting for weeks for the past couple weeks. He said he's taking one tablet of Hydroxychloroquine a day because it's shown a lot of success in preventing codiv-19. He said it isn't harmful. He said many on the front line are taking it. It hasn't shown a lot of success, it's totally unproven and it has some dangerous side-effects, some that could be fatal. It's especially dangerous for anyone with heart issues, which we know Trump has, and just the fact that he's a man of 73 who is morbidly obese should raise a red flag. If he's REALLY taking it I think we can expect to learn he's injecting clorox into his veins once a day as well after taking a laser light enema.

@JaneLijie I must confess that since I'm retired I also sleep pretty late most days. Especially now with the quarantine going on.

@anniepa I did that when I was young. But I can't now. It makes feel terrible if I stay up late.

There's a saying "The heart of man is desperately deceitful" .. now here the category of the men in question makes it even worse. Politicians. All Politicians are liars that's just a plain fact it's just the magnitude of the lies they choose to tell that differentiate's them . Adolfo Hitler, " Make a lie Big, keep repeating it they will eventually believe it." Most politicians try to ride on this principle

@anniepa how is Trump similar to Hitler? This quit a comparison. I would not want to think like any of them especially the not caring about others part . Hitler is really potrayed as a very evil person from what av read?

@Helikaputo Yes, Hitler was VERY evil and so is Trump. He'd do something similar to Hitler if he could get away with it. Now it's his goal to "thin the herd".

@anniepa too bad a number of people here see Trump as a President who calls a spade a spade . Yes av seen him being rude especially to reporters. But if he has traits or the potential of acting like Hitler .. Then he is a very bad person and thank goodness there are rules and regulations to check on his actions

It's really sad to have a President that has degraded his position to such a level that nobody believes what he says anymore. Trump acts like a little eight year old boy who lies to cover the lies that he's said before and then lies again about what he's said before. He's such an unbelievable character that I wonder how in the world did he ever get to be in a position of the head of the most powerful free country in the world! I wonder what kind of legacy he believes he's leaving behind. I guess to his deluded mind he still thinks that he's the greatest President in history. He should know that the world is now laughing at his stupidity. I find myself quite entertained by his daily press conference. One thing for sure he is an entertainer and I think that is about all he's good at.

I'd guess he's probably more entertaining to people who don't live in the USA. The majority of us who do live here are heartbroken over what he's done to our country. What some may see at amusing things coming out of his mouth we see as more reasons for us to be the laughingstock of the rest of the world.

@anniepa Trump has single-handedly reduced the world’s previously high respect that we have of the prowess of the United States. He’s made enemies with almost all the countries in the world namely China and Germany and he’s made good friends of authoritarian leaders like Putin and Kim Jung-un. I hope the American people can see his true colors. He doesn’t care about the American people. All he cares about is himself.

Don't believe everything you hear/read especially as concerns this present administration. Mainstream media is owned by China, remember that.

No, it isn't, and I don't base my views about Trump or his corrupt administration on the media, I base them on my own ears and eyes. I haven't counted all his lies so I can't prove he's told over 18,000 but I've heard him lie pretty much every time he's opened his mouth from the start of his campaign.

I agree. More than once I've heard him tell a lie, contradict that lie with another lie and then tell another lie that he never said the first two...ALL IN THE SAME SENTENCE!
